Princeton ends KHS volleyball season

On Monday, the Boiler Girls varsity volleyball team had a tough fight against the Princeton Tigers during the first round of regionals at Fieldcrest High School and lost 23-25 and 14-25.

Sophomore Macee Pickering had an amazing night on offense, getting four assists, three aces, and four service points. 

Not to be outdone, junior Kendyl DeBlieck had five assists and three service points.

Sophomores Lillie Hampton and Macy Anderson both had three kills that helped the Boilers, but it was sadly not enough to defeat the Princeton Tigers.

Senior Aaliyah Duarte had three blocks, and Hampton had one block that tried to get the Boiler up in the game. Along with junior Taylor VanWinkle’s six digs, junior Claire Taylor made five digs.
