KHS bowlers place fourth at A-Town

The KHS bowling team placed fourth in the Varsity A-Town Invite on Saturday at Abbe Lanes in Abingdon. 

Bowling for Kewanee were Nyla Green, Abigail Nebinger, Alyssa Mannella, Kristina Quanstrom, Sofia Sotelo and Breanna Nebinger.

Alyssa Mannella led Kewanee with a 820 six-game series, followed by Kristina Quanstrom (786) and Sofia Sotelo (771). Mannella earned the fourth-place high game medal; Sotelo received the fifth-place high game medal; and Quanstrom received the sixth-place high game medal. 

Additionally, Abigail Nebinger was honored with the team’s MVP award for her sportsmanship and coachability throughout the tournament.
