KHS bowlers compete in holiday tourney

The Kewanee varsity and JV bowling teams participated in the Geneseo Holiday Invite on Saturday, Dec. 30. 

Breanna Nebinger placed second in the JV division for high game.

Representing the Boilers at the competition were (varsity) Alyssa Mannella, Jasmine Burhans, Sofia Sotelo, Kristina Quanstrom and Kristina Armstrong; and JV Elizabeth Hollis, Breanna Nebinger, Jasmine Heald and Jazmen Moran. 

 Kristina Armstrong placed eighth for high individual series and had fifth-high individual game at the A-Town Tournament.

Kristina Armstrong led the varsity team with a six-game pin total of 882, followed by Kristina Quanstrom with a 734. 

Sofia Sotelo was selected MVP for the Kewanee team at the A-Town Tournament.

Jasmine Heald led the JV with a 565 followed by Jazmen Moran with a 562.
