Kewanee weekend police blotter Oct. 13-15

Friday:

Police were called to remove an unwanted subject in the 800 block of Lake Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported at Second and Main Streets.

Andrea R. Peach, 35, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal trespass to state-supported property following a report of trespassing in the 100 block of Fairview Junction. She was given a notice to appear.

Elise L. Lorang-Louis Holms, 28, Kewanee, was arrested on a Grundy County warrant for failure to appear for driving on a suspended license. She was unable to post bond and taken to the Henry County Jail.

An animal at large, dog, was reported at Third Street and Lakeview Avenue.

A hit and run-failure to remain at the scene of a property damage accident, was reported in the 700 block of East Second Street.

An accident involving vehicles driven by Pamela S. Rosebeck, 54, Kewanee and Frank E. Goben, 30, Eldorado, occurred at Main and Prospect streets. Rosebeck was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. No injuries were reported.

An accident involving vehicles operated by Cole Green, 24, Kewanee, and a parked and unattended vehicle owned by Ted A. Coyne, 65, Kewanee, was reported in the 500 block of North Main. There were no citations or injuries.

Saturday:

Dominic A. Silvaggio, 20, Kewanee, was arrested and cited for reckless driving and speeding, 69/30, at Division and Hollis streets. He was issued a notice to appear.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of South Cottage Street.

A damage-only accident involving vehicles operated by Robert I. Wust, 73, Kewanee and Garret J. DeSplinter, 33, Toulon, was reported in the 100 block of East Second Street. Wust was cited for unsafe movement of a parked vehicle and issued a notice to appear. No injuries were reported.

A vehicle driven by Tyler J. Yanez, 18, Wyoming, struck a parked and unattended vehicle owned by Donette E. Bartman, 49, Kewanee in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue. No injuries were reported but Yanez was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and given a notice to appear.

Amy S. Heaton, 42, Kewanee, was cited for allowing her dog to run at large following a report of an animal at large in the 900 block of Florence Street. She was given a notice to appear.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Main Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Tenney Street.

An animal was impounded from the 100 block of South Burr Boulevard.

An accident involving vehicles driven by Rebecca L. Johnson, 30, Kewanee, and Carter L. Zarvell, 22, Kewanee, was reported at Ninth and East streets. No injuries were reported but Johnson was cited for failure to yield the right of way and issued a notice to appear.

A disturbance, flights, riots, brawls was reported in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North East Street.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 200 block of Community Square.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Sixth Street.

An animal was impounded from the 500 block of West Sixth Street.

Christopher W. McNaught, 33, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for driving an uninsured motor vehicle. He posted bond and was released.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 200 block of East Second Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Beach and Pine streets.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at East Street and Edgewood Drive.

Edward A. Vanmeir, 33, Kewanee, was cited for improper turn signals following a traffic stop at Fourth and Perkins streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police were called to assist Henry County Sheriff’s Department at Tenney and College streets.

Clenton Jones, 47, Kewanee, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license is suspended following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Tenney. He was given notices to appear.

A written warning was given following a traffic stop at Division and East Street South.

Sunday:

A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of East Second Street.

An animal at large was reported at Dodge and Mill streets.

Illegal burning was reported in the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Robert J. Adams, 43, Kewanee, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer, obstruction of justice, intimidation and unlawful restraint following a request for a welfare check in the 100 block of North Park Street. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.

An animal was impounded from the 500 block of Pine Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South West Street.

Criminal property damage was reported in the 500 block of North Lexington Avenue.

A missing person, juvenile runaway was reported in the 500 block of North Lexington Avenue.
