Kewanee police blotter for Nov. 6

Kelsey Kay Johnson, 38, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for driving on a suspended license after police responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 600 block of North Tremont Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A civil disturbance complaint was reported in the 600 block of Williams Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street.

Police responded to a juvenile complaint in the 400 block of Rockwell Street. No arrests were made.

Police responded to a request to remove an unwanted subject from the 600 block of Tenney Street.

An accident involving a vehicle operated by Aaron J. Callahan, 53, Cambridge, struck a parked and unattended vehicle owned by Michelle R. Roach, 54, Kewanee, in the 1200 block of West South Street. No injuries or citations were reported.

A hit and run accident with failure to remain at the scene of a property damage accident was reported in the 400 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to a complaint of a violation of stalking/no contact order in the 100 block of East Church Street.

Criminal damage to property was reported in the 200 block of East Seventh Street.

A sick or injured animal was reported in the 200 block of Beach Street South.

Maddox M. Sopiars, 19, Kewanee, was arrested for disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace after police responded to a domestic disturbance complaint in the 100 block of Lakeland Terrace. He was given a notice to appear.

A dog running at large was reported in the 100 block of Lakeland Terrace.

A sick or injured animal was reported in the 200 block of Whitney Avenue.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.

John W. Buckley, 79, Kewanee, was arrested for battery and aggravated assault after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Edwards Street. He was given a notice to appear in court.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Kellogg Avenue.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of South Tremont Street.
