CAMBRIDGE, Ill. — Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, culture, and community as internationally acclaimed Irish band Seo Linn brings their infectious energy and soaring harmonies to Ca d’Zan House Concerts on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Hailing from the west of Ireland, Seo Linn (pronounced “Shuh Lynn,” meaning “Here We Go” in Irish) is a dynamic group blending traditional Irish instruments with contemporary pop and rock, creating a sound that is both timeless and fresh. Known for their electrifying live performances, bilingual lyrics (in both English and Irish), and heart-pounding rhythms, Seo Linn has become one of the most celebrated voices in modern Irish music.

The band rose to prominence with their viral hit “Wake Me Up” (As Gaeilge)—a stirring Irish-language cover of the Avicii classic—which racked up millions of views on YouTube and helped spark a renewed interest in the Irish language among young audiences. Since then, they’ve toured internationally, performed for dignitaries including the President of Ireland, and built a global fan base with their original songs, fiery instrumentation, and uplifting message.

With fiddle, guitar, bodhrán, keyboard and four-part harmonies, Seo Linn’s live show is a celebration of Irish heritage with a modern edge—think The Lumineers meets The Chieftains. Whether you’re a fan of Irish folk, pop or world music, their sound is sure to move your feet and lift your spirit.

The evening will begin with a potluck and social hour from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by music under the stars beginning at 7 p.m. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit comfortably.

Suggested donation is $20–$30, with all proceeds supporting the artists.
