It’s high school play season, and Wethersfield has an eerie treat in store.
They are performing “Eerie Academy,” written by Tracy Wells. It will be showcased Friday and Saturday in the high school gym at 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets will be sold at the door.
The play is built through a series of hilarious scenes — from ghost stories that are a little too real, to reanimation of a dead frog for a science project.
As vampires, ghosts and monsters navigate the halls of high school your attention will never falter as this play is sure to keep you on your toes. This haunted performance is sure to make the audience scream with delight.
“The play is a mix of monster stories and high school life — something many of us can relate to — and probably felt like it really was at times a story that was too funny, scary or too weird to be real,” said Jennifer Gault, the play director.
