Two Titans pitchers combine for no-hitter in win over Alleman

Colin Hornback drove in four runs, and two Titans pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter, as Annawan-Wethersfield got a 7-2 win over Rock Island Alleman Saturday.

The Titans put the game away early, with a six-run second inning.

Hornback’s three hits on the day included a double and a triple.

Also driving in runs for the Titans were Kellan Keane and Koeyn DeClercq.

DeClercq and Maddux Heitzler held the Pioneers hitless. DeClercq started on the mound and went five innings, giving up both Alleman runs and striking out nine batters. Heitzler pitched two scoreless innings, with two strikeouts, to close out the game.
