Saturday’s regional championship game between the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans and the ROWVA-Williamsfield Cougars was over early.
The Titans jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first inning of a 15-0 victory at Howes Park in Annawan.
They rounded out the final score with a solo run in the second and six more in the third.
Meanwhile, Colin Hornback was throwing a four-inning no-hitter, striking out seven and walking only one.
Maddix Heitzler and Caleb McGill each had there RBIs in the game, and Zeb Rashid, Hornback and Dillon Horrie each drove in two.
The Titans are now 18-6-1 on the season and will play Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
