Black Hawk College is partnering with the Kewanee Animal Shelter to present the Teddy Bear Hospital.
The hospital will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. till noon. Attendees are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the East Campus Veterinary Sciences Center and explore careers in the veterinary industry.
All children are welcome, but the event is recommended for ages 3-8. Checkups for bears will include weigh-in, X-rays, bandaging, heart rate, pharmacy and surgery.
The hospital is free to attend, but donations to the animal shelter are appreciated.
