The Kewanee Elks #724 named Paige Sierens and Dillon Price as December’s “Teens of the Month.”
Paige is the daughter of Gary and Beth Sierens. A senior at Annawan High School, her class rank is 1 of 27 with a GPA of 4.154 on a 4.0 scale. She has four-year achievements in High Honor Roll, basketball, track, 5.0 Club, Spanish Club, FFA, FCA and Health Careers. Three-year achievements include All-Conference Academic in basketball, track, cross country, National Honor Society, track co-captain and student council. She has two-year achievements as class president and basketball co-captain. One-year achievements are as Illinois State Scholar, DAR winner, FFA secretary, president, vice-president, Section 3 vice-president, Section 3 president and cross county co-captain.
Her athletic awards include: basketball, Most Improved, basketball, Bravette, cross country, Most Inspirational, First Team Track 4×8, All-State Track 4×8, Puzzle Club and Gray Matters Collective.
Her community service includes volunteering for the consignment sale, church choir, various FFA activities, summer basketball, Rake & Run, concession stand, making toys, Salvation Army bell ringing, kindergarten help, cemetery clean-up, basketball camp, Kiwanis Breakfast, Annawan/Alba Fire Dept. and Ag Fair.
Dillon is the son of Dean and Rachelle Price. A senior at Kewanee High School, his class rank is 1 of 143 with a GPA of 4.0/4.0 scale.
Four-year achievements include High Honor Roll, marching band, jazz band, concert band, pep band, Key Club, student council and soccer. He has a three-year achievement as a yearbook photographer, and two-year achievements in National Honor Society, All-Conference Academics baseball and soccer, All Conference Band and The Kewanee Voice Student Journalism Program. One-year achievements include Illinois State Scholar, class president, student council treasurer, Key Club treasurer, soccer co-captain, marching band section leader and Scholastic Team.
His community service includes volunteering at Key Club activities and coaching little league soccer.
