During Wethersfield’s Senior Night ceremony on Feb. 13, Flying Geese Coach Tom McGunnigal recognized senior Landon Sauer for scoring his 1,000th point.
Sauer reached the milestone on Jan. 26 against Mercer County in Aledo.
Sauer currently has 1,138 points and has moved to No.16 on Wethersfield’s all-time scoring list. Sauer needs just one point to crack the top 15, the spot currently held by Barry Zonkel with 1,139 points.
