
The Princeton Tigers came up with a big conference win over the Kewanee Boilermakers Friday night, winning by a score of 37-14.
The Tigers got on the board first with a William Lott to Noah Laporte pass play to go up 7-0 early in the first quarter.
Later in the second quarter, KHS countered with a Braden Clark pass to Colson Welgat to tie the score at seven, which remained the score at halftime.
The third quarter was all Princeton. The Tigers racked up 22 points enroute a 29-7 third quarter lead.
The Tigers added another eight points early in the fourth quarter to extend their lead, 37-7. The Boilers tacked on one more score with 4:34 left in the game.
After a sustained drive and facing a fourth and goal from the one yard line, Clark found the end zone for the final score of the game, 37-14.
With the win, the Tigers move to 5-1 and 2-0 in TRAC-Mississippi play. The Boilers are now 5-1 and 3-1 in the conference.
