Kewanee High School senior Corbyn Powers has signed a letter of intent to play football at Monmouth College (home of the Fighting Scots) this fall.
Powers is the second KHS football player from the Class of 2024 to sign with the Fighting Scots. Powers and 2024 grad Daniel Boswell will join former Boilermaker teammate James Conner, who is a sophomore at Monmouth College.
Powers was a member of the 2023 Class 4A No. 10 Kewanee football team that was 8-2 and earned a spot in the post-season playoffs.
During his senior campaign, Powers was named to the Three Rivers Conference-Mississippi First Team (at offensive guard).
