Crossroads Cultural Connections will be hosting Friday and Saturday evening performances of the play Uncle Tom’s Christmas Family Reunion at Midland Golf Club at 7 p.m. This comedy is written by local playwright, Tom Akers. It will be a dinner show and reservations are required.
For those too late to place dinner reservations, fear not, you can still see the show. According to John Taylor of Crossroad Cultural Connection there will be “show only” tickets available at the door. He does recommend contacting them ahead of time and letting them know you will be attending to guarantee available seating. As the month of December comes to a close and the holiday season winds down the event schedule begins to look a little sparse allowing time for family and friends. Luckily, we live in a community that is blessed with beautiful Christmas displays at Windmont and Northeast parks and even a private residence at the corner of East Prospect Street and South Maple Avenue.
So go out and enjoy their beauty. Or, you can always stay home, put on your most comfortable pants and pop in your favorite holiday movies. Whatever you choose to do, have a safe and happy holiday season. Merry Christmas!
