The Kewanee Police Department is investigating an incident in the 200 block of North Boss Street, where officers have temporarily closed the roadway to traffic.
In a news release issued Tuesday shortly after 2 p.m., police requested that residents and motorists avoid the area until further notice. No additional information has been released about the nature of the investigation.
Officials said updates will be provided when appropriate.
