Kohen Newman, a senior at Wethersfield High School, has been impressing audiences with his incredible guitar playing skills.
At Monday night’s Class 1A Wethersfield Regional boys basketball game against LaMoille, Kohen had the opportunity to showcase his talents by playing the Star-Spangled Banner prior to the start of the game. His amazing performance set the tone for an exciting evening of basketball.
Kohen also wowed the crowd at Wednesday’s regional semifinal game between Wethersfield and Fulton by performing another stunning rendition of the national anthem. His passion and dedication were evident leaving everyone in attendance impressed.
Kohen has been a shining example of the talent that can be found at Wethersfield High School. His performances at the regional games have entertained and inspired those in attendance and have also served as a reminder of the incredible talent that exists within the school and community.
Kohen will also be playing prior to the Wethersfield Regional championship game Friday night between Annawan and Fulton. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
