KHS wrestlers get key wins over Morrison, Fulton

Morrison and Kewanee braved the elements Thursday night to travel to Fulton for a triangular meet involving three very competitive and well-matched wrestling programs. 

Fulton and Morrison are Kewanee’s latest two victims, as the Boilermakers added two more wins to their very successful 20-2-1 season. 

Kewanee defeated Fulton by a score of 46-30 and Morrison, 47-32. 

Kewanee 46, Fulton 30

The Boilermakers rode the strength of six pins to beat Fulton. They also won one match by major decision and one by forfeit. Fulton won four matches by pin and two by decision.

Kewanee 47, Morrison 32

The Boilers and the Mustangs each won four wins by pins and one via technical fall. The team win, ultimately, came down to forfeits. Morrison won one match by decision, but Kewanee won three matches via forfeit.
