The Kewanee Boilermaker soccer team hosted the Riverdale Rams Wednesday afternoon and lost by a score of 4-1.
Kewanee struck first with a goal from Tyson Currie less than three minutes into the game. Riverdale quickly answered with a goal of their own just a minute later.
The Rams scored again at the 19-minute mark and never gave up their lead.

Kewanee’s JV squad was also in action on Wednesday night and lost 5-0. The Boilers will face off against Monmouth Roseville next Monday, Sept. 23, at home.
