By The Kewanee Voice    October 6, 2023

Kewanee High School’s last soccer game of the regular season ended in a tie, as the game at Canton ended at 1-1.

“It was a game fought in the middle field,” Coach Jose Bermudez said. “Kewanee had more chances to score and more possession of the ball but didn’t finish the opportunities.”

JJ Roginski scored the Boilers’ only goal, despite the fact that the team had 18 shots during the game.

Goalie Dillon Price had eight saves.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, Kewanee will play in a regional semifinal against Roanoke in Mendota at noon.
