The Kewanee High School Pep Band performed Friday, Nov. 14, at the 2025 IHSA girls volleyball state finals at Illinois State University’s CEFCU Arena.
The band was selected earlier this year by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) to perform during Session 2 of the state finals, an honor extended to only a select number of high school bands from across Illinois through an audition process.
The invitation recognized the band’s outstanding musicianship, school spirit and excellence in performance.
“We are incredibly proud of our students,” said Supt. Rebecca Baney. “Performing at the IHSA State Finals is a significant accomplishment, and our Pep Band showcased the talent, dedication and Boilermaker pride that defines Kewanee High School.”
Kewanee High School extends its appreciation to the students, families and school community for their continued support of the KHS music program.
