Kewanee police blotter for Nov. 4

Joshua L. Dearing, 36, Kewanee, was arrested for DUI and obstructing following a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Oak Street. He was given a notice to appear.

A vehicle driven by David A. Closen, 21, Kewanee, struck a utility pole in the 900 block of Rose Street. No injuries were reported. Closen was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of East Sixth Street.

A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Laura M. Heinrich, 50, Kewanee, and Richard C. Bennett, 78, Kewanee, was reported in the 100 block of North Burr Boulevard. Bennett was transported to OSF St. Luke by Kewanee Fire EMS. Heinrich was cited for failure to yield at stop intersection. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of East Church Street.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 200 block of South Boss Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 1100 block of West Mill Street.

Adrieanah M. Harln, 27, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a request to check welfare at Third Street and Lakeview Avenue. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 800 block of Prairie Avenue.

An animal at large was reported at Beach and Rockwell streets.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of Beach Street South.

Police responded to a report of battery in the 100 block of West South Street.
