Kewanee High School senior standout Braden Clark was recently named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association 2A All-State Third Team.
Clark was one of 17 players selected to the third team. Ten players were named to the first team, 12 to the second team and 16 were accorded Special Mention honors. See the link below for a full list of players selected to the IBCA All-State team.
Clark was a member of the 2023-24 Boilermaker team that was 22-9 on the season and won the TRAC-East with a record of 8-2.
He scored 671 points during his senior campaign for an average of 21.6 points a game. He also grabbed 6 rebounds a contest, and had 3.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
He was named to the All-tourney teams at the Geneseo Thanksgiving Tournament and Erie Warkins Memorial Tournament.
The IBCA All-Star game will be played June 8 in Pontiac.
