Armstrong shines at Abingdon Bowling Invite

The Kewanee bowling team recently participated in two bowling meets. On Jan. 4 the team competed against Hall at Ladd Lanes. The Red Devils defeated Kewanee by a pin count of 1291-1082. 

Kristina Armstrong of Kewanee recorded a game-high 178 and she bowled a 454 series (120, 156, 178). Also competing for the Boiler Girls were Amy Entas with a 331(113, 107, 111) and Taylor Young with a 297 series (99, 105, 93).

Laela Shevokas of Hall bowled a high series of 490 (147, 167, 176).

Abingdon Invitational

On January 6, the Boiler Girls competed in the Abingdon Invitational at Abby Lanes and placed fourth out of six teams. 

Kristina Armstrong was awarded medals for having the third highest series total (970) and the fifth highest individual game of 182. She was also chosen as the most valuable player by her teammates.
