The First Congregational Church, located at 224 W. Prospect St., will host a “Family Fun Day” and the community is invited for the free event. Food, prizes, a magician, a bouncy castle and a worship service are all part of the plan.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 am to 3 pm. Food items include hot dogs, popcorn, cake and ice cream. A magic show will be held at 2:15 pm followed by a worship service at 3 pm.
Throughout the day, there will be prizes, a strolling magic show and a race car, owned by T.J. Jackson, on display.
In case of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Saturday, Oct. 14.
