Looking for a sweatshirt with your favorite team’s logo on it?

How about tickets to a Major League baseball game?

Or a kitchen appliance, or a trip to the beauty parlor?

Those are just a few of the many items, donated by area businesses and individuals and set to be sold to the highest bidder at the Kewanee YMCA’s 26th annual Christmas Charity Auction.

In the past, the auction was carried on the local cable TV channel, and people could phone in bids.

But that channel hasn’t existed for a long time, and now people will be able to bid online for an auction item they like.

The YMCA is partnering with Stenzel Auction Service in an online bidding system.

Those interested in placing a bid, can see available items here.

Some of the items are also on display in the lobby of the YMCA building.

Bids will be accepted from Dec. 5-7. The bidding will close at 4 p.m. on Dec. 7.
