The YMCA of Kewanee announced two events for area kids from preschool age up to the 6th-grade. The YMCA will host a Friday Night Fun Zone, as well as a Kiddie Camp for ages three to five.
The Friday Night Fun Zone includes an evening of swimming, tumbling, snacks and games in the gym for youths’ grades kindergarten through sixth. The fun zone will be held Friday, June 30 from 6-8 pm. The cost is $10 for members, and $15 for community members. Dinner will be provided.
The Kiddie Camp is for children ages three to five and will be held Monday, June 26 and run through Friday, June 30. The camp will provide activities such as crafts, stories, games, swimming, tumbling, guest speakers and park visits. Lunch will be provided each day.
The cost of the camp is $65 for members and $130 for community members. Instructors for the camp are Autumn Brown and Carrie Miskinis.
