Witte and Park named Elks ‘Teens of the Month’

The Kewanee Elks #724 has named Makenna Witte and Landon Park as the Elks January “Teens of the Month.”

Makenna is the daughter of Alyssa Witte. A senior at Wethersfield High School, her class rank is 4/36 with a GPA of 4.91/5.0 scale. Four-year achievements include High Honor Roll, marching band, band, pep band, FFA, Art Club and the Scholastic Club. Her three-year achievement is Key Club, with two-year achievements in National Honor Society, KHSA solo and ensemble, LTC band and Pom Pom. One-year achievements are as FFA president, vice-president, historian, Art Club vice-president and secretary, as well as jazz band.

Makenna’s community service includes volunteering at Key Club events, an Easter event at her church and the HELP Center.

Landon is the son of Justin and Kimberly Park. A senior at Annawan High School, his GPA is 4.0/4.0 scale. He has four-year achievements in High Honor Roll and basketball. His three-year achievement is all-conference academic football. Two-year achievements are National Honor Society, FCA, co-captain football and basketball and all-conference academic basketball. One year-achievements are the school play and FFA.

Community service activities for Landon include volunteering to digitize the all-conference hall of fame photos, working at the Anderson Consignment Sale and the Henry County Humane Society in Geneseo.
