Last Friday, Wethersfield Elementary bustled with activity as families gathered for the annual two-hour Family Fun Night. The event is organized by the elementary teachers.
This event offered activities for all ages. One gymnasium had multiple inflatables, which included a wrecking ball game, a bounce house and a giant slide. The carpeted gymnasium had food, big coloring sheets and mini golf.

In the library, the annual book fair was held, and families could purchase books and other items. Students were also able to purchase books several days before Family Fun Night.
The PATT sold 3-D printed items, and provided food such as hot dogs, chips and all of the families pitched in to buy desserts.
“This is a great way to get kids together and to burn off some energy for the day. There are many things for them to do, and they all enjoy the inflatables,” said a parent of one of the students.
