Each April, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) invites educators, families and communities to come together for the Week of the Young Child (WOYC)—a celebration of early learning, young children and the adults who support them.
The WOYC focuses on the needs of young children and recognizes the Early Childhood Education and care programs and services that meet those needs.
Birth to Five Illinois: Region 28 has partnered with locally owned establishments to offer a week of special deals to recognize the Week of the Young Child across Bureau, Henry and Stark counties.
