Kewanee will once again welcome the iconic and historic Stearman biplanes for their annual fly-out visit, part of the National Stearman Convention held in nearby Galesburg.
On Wednesday, Sept. 3, these vintage aircraft are expected to begin arriving at the Kewanee Municipal Airport around 11 a.m., with departures scheduled for approximately 1 p.m.
Aviation enthusiasts and curious spectators alike are invited to stop by, snap photos and enjoy the rare sight of these beautifully restored planes up close.
