United Township defeated the Kewanee High School tennis team in a match Thursday.
The Boiler Girls lost six singles matches and three doubles matches.
In singles play, London Pettis took her match to three sets before losing the tiebreaker 10-5.
And the doubles team of Lilibeth Bretado and Chayse Sturtevant also went to a tiebreaker, which they lost 5-10.
The JV doubles team of London Currie and Jazlyn Dearing won their match 8-0.
