The Stark County Health Department announced the Toulon Telepharmacy will be opening for business on Monday, Oct. 20.
The opening of the pharmacy, along with the First Choice Healthcare Toulon clinic, means that Stark County residents can now fully take advantage of this multi-service healthcare clinic.
The clinic and telepharmacy are located at 120 E. Court St., Toulon.
The telepharmacy business hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pharmacy will close daily from 12:30 -1 p.m. for lunch.
Duane Stevens, Health Department Public Health Administrator said, “We are so excited to announce the opening of the Toulon Telepharmacy. And it’s so fitting, as this week we celebrate National Pharmacy Week, Oct. 19-25. National Pharmacy Week and the opening of the Toulon Telepharmacy really highlights the critical contribution pharmacies have on the health of local communities.
“The Health Department and First Choice Healthcare along with our other partners in this project are so excited that this opening will bring needed pharmacy services to the residents of Stark County who would otherwise have to travel considerable distances to surrounding communities for this service.”
