Youth Programming
We will once again be hosting our Annual Storybook Pumpkin Display. Starting two weeks before Halloween, we’d like to invite families to decorate a pumpkin as their favorite book character for us to display through the holiday. Please note: as the pumpkins will be on display in a heated environment, we do ask that you do not bring in carved pumpkins.
Our story times continue to be as popular as ever, and we’re so happy to be able to continue sharing some of our favorite stories, sing songs, and learn some action rhymes with each of our attendees.
Toddler Story Time will continue through Oct. 31 before taking a short break and beginning again on Nov. 7. Caregivers of children from newborn to two-years-old, can stop in Tuesdays at 10:30 am to take part in Baby & Toddler Time. Everyone is invited to stick around afterward to explore our newly revamped play room.
Preschool Story Time will also continue through Oct. 31 before breaking for a week and returning on Nov. 7. Caregivers of children aged two- to four-years-old, can stop in at 11:30 am to take part. Stick around afterward to spend time with our sensory toy collection. We will once again be hosting two in-house crafts geared toward our different age groups. The young crowd and their caregivers are invited to come in Nov. 15, 16, and 17 from 2 to 6 pm or Nov. 18 from 9 am to 1 pm. We’ll be making coffee filter turkeys.
For our slightly older crowd, we will be making sand art turkeys on Nov. 8, 9, and 10 from 2 to 6 pm or Nov. 11 from 9 am to 1 pm. Don’t forget about our grab n’ go crafts! The newest will be available starting Nov. 1. Stop in to grab a kit to make your own turkey caller while supplies last.
