Friday’s blizzard conditions have forced rescheduling or cancellation of several sporting events scheduled for the weekend. This list will be updated if more schedule changes are reported to the Kewanee Voice.
As of midmorning. . .
The boys basketball game between Kewanee High School and Hall High School at Hall has been postponed to Jan. 30.
The Freshman Jamboree girls basketball event in Sterling has been cancelled.
The Lincoln Trail Conference junior high boys basketball tournament games for Friday and Saturday in Galva have been postponed. The host will make a determination Sunday if the Saturday games will now be played on Monday based on the weather forecast.
The annual Kewanee Varsity Invitational wrestling tournament scheduled for Saturday in Brockton Gym at Kewanee High School has been cancelled.
The Galesburg Invite girls high school bowling tournament, in which Kewanee was entered, was scheduled for Saturday morning, but has been cancelled.
A dance invitational at Fieldcrest High School, scheduled for Saturday, has been cancelled. Kewanee High School’s team was entered in the competition.
