
The Kewanee High School football and basketball programs, in conjunction with the Kewanee Park District, are holding a fundraiser at Baker Park Golf Course on Saturday, June 24.
The Shaune Lewis Memorial Day Golf Playday will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The playday is preferred ball, 18 holes. A “Cook Your Own” ribeye steak dinner will be served afterwards at the 19th Hole Restaurant.
The cost for the playday is $55 per person and includes golf, cart and dinner. The cost for Baker Park members is $45. Dinner only will be $30.
Course pin prizes include the closest to the pin on Holes #2 for men, and #6 for women.Other pin prizes will be awarded for longest drive, longest putt, and longest drive on fairway.
In addition, event organizers are seeking people or businesses to sponsor a hole for $25. A sign will be placed on the course the day of the event. Your sign can advertise your business or send a message to a team.

A raffle giveaway for two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit will also take place. The tickets are $5 per entry. The drawing will take place after golf play at Baker Park. You don’t need to be present to win.
