Surviving an Active Threat – Run. Hide. Fight. is a performance-level training course developed by the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training – NCBRT at LSU. It’s designed to prepare individuals—especially those who aren’t traditional first responders—for how to react during an active threat situation, such as an active shooter incident.

Instructor led, the eight-hour course takes participants through real case studies, and offers group discussions and practical exercises to reinforce the strategies. The goal is to empower people with knowledge and confidence to make spur of the moment decisions that may help save their life or the life of others.
