
Kewanee High School’s frosh-soph team came from a four-run deficit to win at Monmouth United 10-8 Friday.
The Riveters scored first on an RBI single by Reid Nichols, but United tied the game in the second.
A two-run double by in the sixth inning by Walker Colomer tied the game at seven. But in the bottom of the inning the home team added a run on a Kewanee error.
Easton Blake’s RBI single gave the Riveters the 10-8 lead in the eighth inning.
The Riveters had 14 hits in the game.
