Thank you for the “Two students’ speeches highlight veterans’ contributions.” Mr. Ly and Ms. Lempke both eloquently gave examples of not often thought of reasons to yet again be grateful for the heroic and selfless contributions of our military service men and women. Kudos to the Kewanee Veterans Council for coming up with this fantastic idea to involve and inspire our young adults to give some real thought to what it means to serve this nation in that capacity.
