The First Presbyterian Church in Kewanee is holding its annual bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 8:30 am to 1 pm. A gift shop, bake sale and a lunch will all be offered for those wanting to get a head start on their Christmas gift-giving.
The gift shop will offer ornaments, tortilla warmers, kitchen scarves, needle point ornaments, wreaths and other items. Assorted homemade cookies, brownies, banana bread, pumpkin bread, soup mix and cookie mix in a jar will be among the items for sale at the bake sale.
Lunch is available for purchase from 11 am to 1 pm. For the cost of $12, shoppers can get a rib-eye sandwich, chips, baked beans, a pumpkin dessert and a beverage. Tickets are available at the door. To order ahead, call the church office at (309) 852-2564 or Terri Wolfe at (309) 883-0871.
