Four Seasons “fluttered into spring” with a presentation of a flowy, lightweight spring collection. On April 18, models took the stage showcasing the innovative, functional and stylish clothing and accessories from the boutique in a fashion show that benefited the local chapter of the P.E.O.
Held at Zion Lutheran church, the event drew in roughly 65 attendees. Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks while awaiting the runway show.
One of the organizers of the show was Barbara Morrison, P.E.O president.
“P.E.O’s goal is to motivate, educate and celebrate women through projects like this fashion show,” said Morrison, adding that 100% of P.E.O proceeds go back into the community through things like scholarships, loans and grants.

Presenting the line of clothes and products for the show was Katie Kutsunis, president of Four Seasons. Her father started the company 64 years ago, and she joined in 34 years ago. “I love working with my dad,” she said. She continues to carry on her father’s legacy of bringing functionality and style to women’s clothing.
At the style show, Four Seasons introduced models wearing designs from their clothing brands like Ruby Road, Zach and Rachel, Dear Scarlett and Democracy. Models showcased the lightweight, flowy tops from Dear Scarlett and Zack and Rachel, with one model stating she liked the top because it was longer and comfortable.
Ruby Road was showcased to serve women’s pants needs with their trousers, capris and shorts. Models showed how Democracy jeans can be comfortable, functional and stylish with a semi-compression mesh panel along the front, a flat elastic waistband and four-way stretch designed to bounce back as you wear it.

Accessories had a chance to shine on the runway as well, with multi-use bags from Baggallini. The pocket-sized bag was stated to be the most popular, with the other designs right behind, such as the “dual duty” crossbody/fanny pack convertible bag.
Another popular style shown was a crossbody bag with a built-in wallet in the front, for easy access, equipped with RFID protection. Haiku brand crossbody bags, based out of Hawaii, were also introduced as a stylish, eco-friendly alternative to everyday fabrics, made entirely of recycled water bottles.
Lastly, attendees were presented a way to complete their spring look with the scents of Inis. Inis fragrance brand comes as a perfume, body soap and lotion. The soap and lotion are also available to purchase as a set in a caddy. Although Inis is considered a neutral scent, it is reminiscent of the sea.

Wrapping up the runway show, 20 names were drawn from a raffle, and winners were able to take home the floral arrangement centerpieces from Sue Sagmoen at Blooms by Heartfelt. Guests were given free tote bags, coupons and Inis samples on their way out the door.
