This weekend boasts some great opportunities to fight off boredom’s malaise. Saturday evening is ripe with opportunities for great food, music and fun.

First up is the Kewanee Hispanic Heritage Celebration Block Party that takes place from 4-11 p.m at the American Legion Post in Kewanee on Third Street. Here participants will experience authentic food, music, vendors and demonstrations.

Another option for those that love music is the Ca d’Zan House Concert series will present Andrew Finn Magill’s Canta, Violino! and Tyler Sjöström. So grab your lawn chair and head to Cambridge. There will be a social hour and potluck from 6-7 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m.
