
This weekend is bursting with fall colors, flavors and hometown spirit. Kick things off Friday night under the lights as Kewanee High School hosts its homecoming football game at 7 p.m. The Annawan/Wethersfield Titans will take the field at 7 p.m. on their home turf at WHS and the Galva Wildcats will travel to Peoria for a 7 p.m. showdown with Peoria Heights.
Saturday brings a full slate of seasonal fun, from craft shows and scenic drives through autumn’s colors to local fundraisers and sporting events that are guaranteed to entertain.
On Sunday, give back and have a tail-wagging good time at the Barkin’ for BINGO fundraiser for the Kewanee Animal Shelter. Held at the Flemish American Club from 1 to 3 p.m., the fundraiser is a chance to support furry friends while enjoying prizes, laughs and community connection.

Love4Lori Fundraiser for Lori Gibson who is going through pancreatic cancer treatment. The fundraiser will be at the Stables 2350 US HWY 34 from 10 a.m. to midnight. There will be a pulled pork dinner, food truck, bouncy house, raffle and more.

Kewanee Animal Shelter “Barkin for BINGO” fundraiser for the care of shelter animals at Flemish American Club 313 N. Burr Blvd. in Kewanee from 1-3 p.m. Lunch served at 11 a.m. until food runs out. Prizes awarded every round.
