This weekend is Kewanee’s Christmas Open House, a perfect time to do a little Christmas shopping while supporting small local businesses. Many of these shops will feature specials, refreshments and giveaways throughout the weekend.
Participating merchants in the open house are Blooms by Heartfelt, Co Co’s Coffee Shop, Empire Bookshop, Breedlove’s Sporting Goods, Blissful Branch Boutique, Johnson’s Hub, Johnson’s Appliance, Jessie’s Closet, Country Morning Coffee and Prairie Chicken Haus.
The Annawan/Wethersfield Titans are still running straight towards a state championship. This weekend they will play on their home field against Lena/Winslow at 1 p.m. According to the weather app on my phone it looks to be a glorious day. So, get out, get some fresh air and go support these boys!
