
If you are looking to help out a good cause, then this weekend has got you covered by offering many opportunities to give back and support your community, starting off with a blood drive at the Kewanee Public Library from 9-11:30 a.m. in their Community Rooms. Later that evening Visitation will host their second Fish Fry Friday at the school from 5-7 p.m.
Saturday evening the Cambridge Academic Foundation will present an interactive play, “Murder at the Mall: The Class Reunion.” This fundraiser will also feature food for purchase, a silent and live auction along with a 50/50 raffle. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Midland Golf Club.
Sunday afternoon the talented Kewanee High School Symphonic Band will perform a concert featuring popular songs from movies. The concert will take place at 2 p.m. at the KHS Petersen Auditorium. Go support this talented group of students while enjoying great music and toe tapping favorites.
