KEWANEE WEATHER

Out & About this weekend, April 17-19

By Diane Tucker    April 17, 2026

If you are a music lover then this is your weekend. Crossroads Cultural Connections will present concerts each night this weekend in Bishop Hill. Starting with Dawson Hollow on Friday evening, Matthew Curry on Saturday and wrapping up the weekend with Joe Goodkin on Sunday. There will be community potlucks prior to each performance at 6 p.m. followed by the concerts at 7 p.m.

Joe Goodkin will perform Sunday.

For those longing to find themselves on the other side of the microphone and center stage then head over to Cambridge on Saturday night for karaoke at the Spectrum Pub at 8 p.m. This is a great opportunity to show your stuff or quite possibly embarrass yourself. Either will be entertaining.

Looking for something other than music? Then take part in the Kewanee Area United Way Rock and Roll BINGO at the Elks Club in Kewanee at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening. Besides BINGO games there will also be silent auction items and baskets.
