Aside from a rain shower Friday evening, the weather cooperated beautifully over the weekend, drawing crowds to the annual Hog Days celebration.
Festivities kicked off Friday with the opening of the carnival, a variety of food vendors and live entertainment downtown. Saturday brought the Hog Days Stampede, the much-anticipated Hog Days parade, followed by a full slate of performances and activities that kept the energy going well into the evening.

Sunday saw long lines at the popular pork chop drive-thru, while visitors browsed the flea market for hidden gems, sampled local fare and enjoyed more live entertainment.

The weekend wrapped up Monday with a day dedicated to kids. Families turned out in force for hands-on fun, including a petting zoo, reptile encounters, face painting, a chance to dunk a police officer and even helping put out a mock house fire with guidance from local firefighters.
