The sweet scent of fresh-baked cakes and artisanal treats is coming to Main Street in Geneseo. I Bake It That Way Bakery is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, April 25. Located at 115 E Main St., the bakery invites the community to experience a day filled with sweetness and celebration.
I Bake It That Way is a proud woman-owned and operated establishment founded by Nicole Rubitsky.
“Our grand opening is a chance to share our passion for baking while providing our customers with more variety, and the convenience of extended hours to satisfy those sweet cravings at any time,” said Rubitsky.

The festivities will kick off early at 8 a.m., with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as the first 50 visitors will receive a complimentary decorated cookie to mark the occasion. The bakery will offer a variety of interactive experiences for attendees throughout the day.
Attendees will get a firsthand look at the bakery’s specialty items where they can experience live tastings and refreshments. Live tastings include samples of signature cakes and assorted desserts, all available while supplies last. Refreshments will include a curated selection of coffee and samples designed to pair with the bakery menu.
I Bake It That Way will be open for the full grand opening day from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
The community is invited to stop by, meet the team and find a new favorite treat.
