The best season in Annawan-Wethersfield football history came to an end Saturday, as the visiting Lena-Winslow Panthers defeated the Titans 42-26 in a quarterfinal game of the Illinois High School Association playoffs.
The Titans won 11 straight games on the season, winning the conference championship.
