The Wethersfield volleyball team sailed to a 2-set conference win Wednesday night over Ridgewood (25-12, 25-8).
The Lady Geese move to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in the LTC. Ridgewood falls to 2-11 and 0-3 in conference play.
Kennady Anderson recorded 5 kills, and Lajaya Angel and Emersyn Nelson each had 4 in the match. Cora Hodge had 12 digs, Kendall Vincent 10, Raqi Young 9 and Anderson added 8. Emersyn Nelson contributed 3 blocks and Camryn Nelson served up 2 aces.
The Lady Geese will host Brimfield tonight in a non-conference matchup. Brimfield is 7-4 overall and 3-0 in the Inter County Conference.
The freshmen match starts at 5 pm, the sophomores play at 6 pm and the varsity match follows at 7 pm.
